About
Undergraduate Ministries at the Center for Christian Study aim to care for students at the University of Virginia by applying the claims of the Bible to the whole of life. This is accomplished primarily through hosting discussions, meeting with students one-on-one, assisting other Christian ministries at the university, and providing a residential program for men and women who choose to live and study in community while enrolled as undergraduate students.
Also, in keeping with the Vision Statement of the Center to facilitate wise discussion of the Truth in light of the challenges of contemporary culture, opportunities are offered to students through a variety of programs to critically examine the way that culture shapes us.
Relationships among Undergraduate Ministries’ staff members and other ministry organizations at U.Va. help in directing students to appropriate and suitable areas of service, nurture, and fellowship, with an emphasis on evangelism and discipleship.
