This Faith & Life Special Lecture Series explores several sources of authority for the Christian, including "the primacy of Scripture," "the disciplines of critical reason," and "the Christian experience of grace." (A fourth lecture, on "the wisdom of tradition," was not recorded.)

BILL WILDER is Director of Educational Ministries at the Center for Christian Study. He is the author of Echoes of the Exodus Narrative in the Context and Background of Galatians 5:18 (Peter Lang, 2001).
NICHOLAS WOLTERSTORFF is Noah Porter Professor of Philosophical Theology (Emeritus) at Yale University, and, at the University of Virginia, is both scholar in residence at the
Department of Philosophy and a senior fellow at the Institute for Advanced
Studies in Culture.
DREW TROTTER, President of the Center for Christian Study, earned his Ph.D. in New Testament Studies from Cambridge University. He is the author of Interpreting the Epistle to the Hebrews (Baker, 1997).
